ABCs™ COLLABORATIVE - Fall 2026

A Year-Long Professional Learning Community

For Educators • Nonprofits • Community Organizations • Youth-Serving Professionals

The ABCs™ Collaborative brings together educators, nonprofit leaders, counselors, mentors, youth-serving professionals, and community organizations to build a shared language and shared practices centered on the ABCs™ Framework:

- Awareness – Understanding ourselves so we can better support others.

- Belonging – Creating spaces where we are seen, valued and respected

- Compassion – Leading with curiosity, accountability, and care

We especially welcome professionals who serve children, youth, families, and historically underserved communities and who are committed to strengthening their capacity to create environments where every person feels valued, connected, and a true sense of belonging.

As a participant, you will:

✓ Develop practical strategies grounded in the ABCs™ Framework

✓ Strengthen self-awareness and relationship-centered leadership

✓ Build cultures of belonging across classrooms, organizations, and communities

✓ Collaborate with professionals across schools and community organizations

✓ Earn up to 25 State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs) through the Michigan Department of Education

September

Collaborative Kickoff

An immersive learning experience introducing the ABCs™ Framework while building relationships across the cohort.

October–May

Monthly Virtual Collaborative Sessions

Continue learning through monthly conversations, implementation support, collaborative problem-solving, and shared reflection.

February

Deepening Practice

Reconnect in person to strengthen implementation, celebrate progress, explore new strategies, and deepen collaborative learning.

June

Celebration & Showcase

Conclude the year by celebrating growth, sharing implementation stories, recognizing participant accomplishments, and inspiring the next chapter of creating communities of belonging.
